The Enterprise Client Systems (ECS) team is dedicated to delivering expert solutions for designing, implementing, and maintaining state-of-the-art Windows-based architecture environments, utilizing cutting-edge technologies such as Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM) and Intune. In the position of Systems Analystin the ECS team, you will play a vital role in providing technical support, troubleshooting, and consulting services for desktop computing environments. You will assist in analyzing client needs, implementing desktop solutions, and resolving issues to ensure efficient and secure desktop operations. This entry-level position offers an opportunity to learn and develop expertise in desktop technologies, gain hands-on experience in consulting engagements, and contribute to the success of client facing projects. As you gain expertise and focus on the commitment to excellence, you will help to ensure that our clients always have the resources and support they require to achieve their business objectives. You must be located in Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Kentucky, Maryland, Massachusetts, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Vermont, Virginia or Washington DC to be considered.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Technical Support: Provide technical assistance and support to end-users, addressing hardware, software, and network-related issues. Respond to service requests, troubleshoot problems, and resolve technical incidents within defined timelines. Escalate complex issues to senior team members or appropriate teams for further investigation and resolution.
- Desktop Deployment and Configuration: Assist in the setup, installation, and configuration of desktop hardware, software applications, and peripherals. Collaborate with the team to ensure standardized desktop configurations, maintain inventories, and document deployment processes. Contribute to the development of efficient desktop deployment strategies.
- Issue Diagnosis and Resolution: Troubleshoot desktop-related problems, analyze symptoms, and identify root causes. Apply troubleshooting methodologies to resolve hardware, software, and connectivity issues. Collaborate with team members to share knowledge, obtain guidance, and ensure timely issue resolution.
- Software Installation and Updates: Assist in software installations, upgrades, and patches to ensure desktop applications are up to date and compatible with the operating system. Follow best practices for software deployment and configuration management. Collaborate with senior team members to troubleshoot software compatibility issues.
- Security and Compliance: Support the implementation and enforcement of desktop security measures, including antivirus software, access controls, and encryption. Assist in ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, industry standards, and organizational policies.
- Knowledge and Documentation: Develop user-friendly documentation, guidelines, and FAQs to enhance end-user knowledge and self-help capabilities. Collaborate with senior consultants to deliver training sessions and workshops to educate end-users on desktop technologies, software usage, and best practices.
- Client Collaboration: Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to understand their desktop requirements, gather feedback, and provide support. Actively participate in client meetings and contribute to the development of desktop solutions that align with their business objectives. Maintain positive relationships with clients and promote excellent customer service.
- Professional Development: Continuously enhance technical skills and knowledge of desktop technologies, industry trends, and best practices. Stay updated with emerging technologies and certifications relevant to desktop consulting. Seek learning opportunities, attend training sessions, and actively participate in professional development activities.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Basic understanding of Windows operating systems and hardware components
- Knowledge of software installation, configuration, and updates

- Experience with Windows 11 interface and management
- Knowledge of Windows Server 2019/2022
- Knowledge of Microsoft Group Policy Objects and Group Policy Preferences
- Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM) or Intune experience is a plus
- Knowledge of Intune Policy or Autopilot is a plus
- Experience with Microsoft cloud licensing; Microsoft 365 E3 and E5, EM+S, Intune, or Office 365 E3 is a plus
- Must be open to travel to customer locations if required (2-4 weeks per year)
Education and Experience:
- Entry level to 3 years of professional experience
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology or a related field is preferred
- Microsoft certifications are valued
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Compensation:
The base pay for this position has a salary range of $50,000 to $70,000. The actual salary offer will take in to account a wide range of factors including the individual’s qualifications, experience as well as location. In addition, certain positions are eligible for bonuses or commissions.
